Emptying big bags without contaminating products in the food industry. Especially in the food industry, the requirements for complete emptying and contamination-free production are very high. This is guaranteed by the soldis big bag emptying station from HOSOKAWA Solids Solutions GmbH in Landsberg am Lech. Projects for customers in the food industry often involve emptying powdery to granular bulk materials from big bags. Different bulk materials are delivered in bags. The main task is to empty the various bulk materials with different product or flow properties in a dosed manner without cross-contamination when changing products. This is an important basic requirement to ensure the quality of the subsequent processes and the quality of the end product. The big bags are made available via an integrated crane system, after which the discharge hose is connected dust-tight to the docking unit of the emptying station. To solve this problem, Hosokawa solids solutions GmbH has developed and applied for a patent for an inline density meter that meets this challenge and can measure products with bulk densities from 0.05 to 5.0 kg/ dm3 with an accuracy of up to +- 0.5%. Dust-tight housing The measurement is carried out in a dust-tight housing, so that hazardous substances can also be monitored without any problems, taking into account the requirements of employee health protection. A high measuring accuracy with simultaneously strongly reduced time expenditure is achieved by the automated measuring process and the constant process and environmental conditions. according to EHEDG-Guidelines, able to CIP The solids dosing screw Type DSC Hygienic has been designed for maximal production hygiene. Besides there is to highlight the possibility of Clean in Place without dismantling. The construction is made of stainless steel in suitable quality. All surfaces are abraded mechanically with middle roughness depth Ra<0,8. All sealings are constantly cavity free. Optionally, all metal parts can be electropolishes. Equipped with a fine dosing device, consisting of dosing-star and locking disc, a pulsation free feeding flow is generated. The locking disc reacts simultaneously when achieving the set-weight. Hygienic-Design according EHEDG - Guidelines The solids Rotary valve Type SRVS has been advanced by S.S.T.-Schüttguttechnik GmbH to Hygienic Design. It is easy to dismantle and easy to clean and has been planned acc. HACCP and EHEDG -guidelines, suitable for food stuffs, with extensible rotar and optional check guide rails. All rotary valves of this series comply already with the new machinery directive 2000/42/EC, which has been effective since 29.12.2009. Within the required risk evaluation also have been considered the microbiological, physical and chemical demands. The GMP- / FDA-requirements and the DIN EN 1672-2 are fulfilled with measures as: in contact with product polished (interior), ground, surface quality acc. required Ra-value, all sealings without any cracks, optionally electropolished, free of dead spots. For the weighing of smallest components the solids solutions group has developed a new scale with swivelling bowl. The compact device offers a high weighing accuracy of up to 1 gram at a resolution of up to 0.5 grams. Different sizes cover a weighing range up to 50 kg. Preferably the scale is installed in a protection casing in order to exclude external impacts and to prevent the emission of dust to the surroundings during feed and discharge. The calibration as well as a frequent functional check are performed automatically. The 1-component metering module installed on board is provided with a Profibus interface for a direct connection to the supervising process automation. Hochpräzise Dosierung in kompakter Form
Basierend auf ihrer langjährigen Erfahrung in der Dosierung von Schüttgütern hat die solids solutions group ein neuartiges Dosiergerät entwickelt und zum Patent angemeldet. Das Gerät ermöglicht selbst bei kohäsiven Stoffen eine sehr hohe Dosiergenauigkeit durch seine Feinstdosiereinrichtung mit pulsationsfreiem Abwurf. Der konstante Füllgrad der Dosierschnecke trägt bei zu höchster Genauigkeit und Dosierkonstanz. Das Dosiergerät kann für Reinigungszwecke leicht zerlegt werden und ist äußerst wartungsfreundlich. Alle Antriebe sind leicht zugänglich angeordnet. Für Anwendungen in der Lebensmittelindustrie ist das Dosiergerät GMP – gerecht – und FDA konform ausgeführt.
