At SPS, VEGA presents sensors in new performance sizes

At SPS (14.-16.11. Nuremberg), VEGA presents its complete portfolio of level, switching and pressure sensors for specific applications in process automation.
Bringing simplicity to automated special processes: For VEGA, this means implementing reliable measurement results at any time, anywhere and in the performance quantity that exactly matches the process. At SPS, VEGA presents its complete portfolio of level, switching and pressure sensors for specific applications in process automation.

The radar level sensor VEGAPULS 6X is the focus of the presentation for all highly demanding applications. Not only has it been ”designed” with the greatest dynamics and maximum focus, but also with all important security and safety requirements.

In addition, the compact IO-Link radar sensor VEGAPULS 42 now ensures reliability and safety in standard applications. Certified according to all common international hygiene and quality standards, it is suitable with its versatile adapters for processes with the highest hygiene requirements - and the perfect choice when it comes to continuous automation with fast level changes.

Because every process environment is different, the particularly simple integration and universal connections of the VEGA portfolio set the course for process optimisation. Mount, connect, done: it couldn’t be simpler.

New backup & restore solution reliably secures and saves data from VEGA sensors When a level or pressure sensor is taken out of service and replaced, it takes countless important sensor settings and data with it into retirement. However, the settings and measured values are not lost, because a new VEGA software tool saves everything that matters. Smartphones and tablets are now standard equipment in industrial plants. Almost 40 percent of all VEGA sensors for level, point level and pressure are parameterised, read out and serviced via Bluetooth and the VEGA Tools app. To be sure, lots of ”real work” still has to be done on site, but the adjustment of sensors in hazardous zones or hard-to-reach measuring points is made considerably easier with these wireless tools, as it can be performed from a safe distance of up to 50 metres.
